Stanford's Who's Who

About Us

Offering individuals around the world a platform to present their accomplishments and tools for connecting with one another, Stanford Who’s Who provides its members with access to a professional directory, social network, and multimedia services. The Stanford Who’s Who Black Book lists the professional biographies and contact information of its members in a printed publication as well as in an easy-to-browse CD-ROM format. Facilitating access to its Black Book, Stanford Who’s Who posts the same information in a secure environment on its website. Stanford Who’s Who invites members to update their online and contact information as their careers evolve so that they stay current in the occupational sphere and increase their opportunity for business ventures. Further encouraging its members to network, the organization hosts Café Who’s Who, a professional social network through which members may contact one another or participate in group discussions. On a more individual level, Stanford Who’s Who hosts and designs websites for its members, personalizing them with information such as their Black Book biographies, professional affiliations, photographs, educational background, and related business projects. The organization then promotes these websites online. Each participant in Stanford Who’s Who receives a wall plaque made of solid wood and engraved by laser, as well as a certificate of recognition. More recently, the organization has added a beveled glass desk tribute to the list of member benefits. Each of these tokens allows individuals to proudly display their acceptance and participation in the professional network. Executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who have achieved “Best of the Year” status earn entry into the Diamond Club and are awarded with a proclamation engraved on cherry wood or beveled glass. Through The Stanford Review, Stanford Who’s Who showcases high-performing members’ achievements in personal interview and biographical formats. These publications serve to recognize honored individuals and inspire fellow members.
